Objective: To evaluate control of Gushen Dingchuan Pill on pulmonary function and quality of life in patients of stable stage of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Method: Ninety-four cases of stable stage of COPD with qi deficiency of lung and kidney were randomly allocated into control and experimental groups

47 cases each group. Both groups were treated according to the guideline of COPD diagnosis and therapy. Gushen Dingchuan pills were added into the experimental groups
