Objective: To establish HPLC fingerprint of Rehmannia glutinosa to provide a reliable method for scientific evaluation and the effective control of its quality. Method: The fingerprints were obtained on a Dikma Diamonsil C18column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) with the gradient elution solvent system composed of acetonitrile and 0.1% phosphoric acid. The flow rate was 1.0 mL· min-1. The column temperature was maintained at 35℃
and the detection wavelength was set at 240 nm. Result: Thirteen common peaks were selected as the fingerprint peaks and the fingerprints were also evaluated by the Similarity Evaluation System for Chromatographic Fingerprint with the correlation coefficient above 0.99. Conclusion: This method with good precision and reproducibility is reliable for the quality control of R. glutinosa.
