Objective: To study the chemical constituents from the stem of Ficus ischnopoda. Method: The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by silica gel column
RP C18 and sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. Their structures were identified by physicochemical properties and spectral data. Result: The twelve components were isolated and identified as catechin (1)

licoflavone C (4)
6-prenylapigenin (5)
quercetin (6)
luteolin (7)
scopleton (8)
3-O-trans-p-coumaroyltormentic acid (9)
N-trans-feruloyltyramine (10)
N-trans-3
4-O-dimethylcaffeoyl dopamine (11)and oxypeucedanin hydrate (12). Conclusion: All compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time
and compound 11 was isolated from the natural source for the first time
