Objective: To observe clinical effect of Jianpi Xiaotang granule on prediabetic state. Method: One hundred and seventeen cases with diabetes mellitus(DM)were divided into treatment group of 59 cases and control group of 58 cases both groups received health education and life intervention treatment.The treatment group received Jianpi Xiaotang cranule and acarbose tablets and the control group was given the acarbose tablets.The treatment course lasted six months and the changes of fasting plasma glucose(FPG)
