Effects of Miao National Herbs Sidaxue on Rheumatoid Arthritis in Rats
Objective: To discuss the effects of traditional Miao national herbs Sidaxue on rheumatoid arthritis and its mechanism. Method: An animal model of adjuvant arthritis (AA) was established
rats were divided into blank control group
model control group
high dose Sidaxue treatment group
middle dose Sidaxue treatment group
low dose Sidaxue treatment groups
positive control group(glucosidorum tripterygll totorum control group). The rat paw edemas of rats was measured;Synovial cells were primarily cultured
and the 3rd generations of subculture cell were adopted for experiment. Western-blotting method was adopted to detect the protein expression level of B cell lymphoma/leukemia-2(Bcl-2)
Bcl-2 associated X protein(Bax). Result: Miao national herbs Sidaxue could inhibit the swelling of paw (P < 0.05);decrease the protein expression of Bcl-2 (P < 0.05
P < 0.01)
increase the protein expression of Bax in Arthritis rats' synoviocyte(P < 0.01)
and decrease the rate of Bcl-2/Bax. Conclusion: Miao national herbs Sidaxue can antagonize the development of AA
the mechanism of which may be related to promoting apoptosis of synoviocyte.
