Objective: Through the determination of the content of trace elements of three kinds of dodder and its processed products to discuss the potential medicinal value of different processed products. Method: The trace elements of dodder and its different processed products were determined by microwave digestion using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) and atomic fluorescence spectrometry (AFS). Zn
Fe
Al and other trace elements in dodder and its different processed products was different
and K
Ca
Mg
Fe
P content in different processed products was high;the trace element additive volume in salt system dodder was higher than other processed products. Conclusion: Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) and atomic fluorescence spectrometry (AFS) can determine the trace elements in dodder and its processed products
adjuvant material and the processing itself can not only change the element content
but play a synergistic curative effect with effective components. This experiment can provide scientific reference basis for in-depth studies of trace elements and efficacy of the immanent connection.
