Study on Isolation and Identification of Fungi in Medicated Leaven
Objective: To study the isolation and identification of Fungi in Medicated Leaven. Method: Using streak plate method and the hyphal tip purification methods to isolate fungi from Medicated Leaven
and using biological microscope microscopic method to identify morphology study
along with DNA sequencing for molecular identification. Result: There strains were identified three strains of fungi were Aspergillus flavus
Penicillium chrysogenum and Cladosporium fungus by morphology and molecular biology identification. The Aspergillus and P. chrysogenum fermentation of medicated leaven
it smells and trait similarity and traditional fermentation. C. fungus fermentation of medicated leaven produce rotting smell
its characters is also great different from traditional fermented difference. Conclusion: The results provide material basement for further studies related to Medicated Leaven.
