Effect of Naoluoxintong on Apoptosis and Apoptosis-Related Protein in the CA1 Region of Hippocampus After Ischemia and Reperfusion with Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis Type Rats
Objective: To study the mechanism of Naoluoxintong in preventing and treating on cerebral ischemia and reperfusion damage.Methods: The cerebral ischemia and reperfusion model with Qi-deficiency and blood stasis syndrome was established to investigate the preventive and therapeutical effect. The expressions of Bcl-2 protein and Bax protein were observed by the method of immunohistochemistry; the apoptosis was observed by the method of TUNEL Results:Naoluoxintong can counteract neural cell apoptosis after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion;Naoluoxintong can increase the expression of Bcl-2 protein while reduce the expression of Bax protein. Conclusions: Naoluoxintong can counteract neural cell apoptosis after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion with the effection on apoptosis-related protein.
