Effect of Conjugated Linoleic Acid,Magensium and Selenium on Body Weight Reduction in Mice Fed by High-Fat Diet
Objective:To study the effect of conjugated linoleic acid magnesium selenium(CMS) on body weight reduction in mice fed by high-fat diet.Methods:63 male Kunming mice were randomly divided into five groups
i.e.normal control group 10
model control group 14
low
middle and high dose groups 13 for each
and fed basal diet for the normal control group
fed high-fat diet for others.At the same time
0.2 mL/10g BW 1.5%CMC+CMS aqueous solution were given orally for three dose groups daily
and 0.2 mL/10 g BW 1.5%CMC aqueous solution for the others.After four weeks
body weight
testis fat were weighed
food consumption and serum TG
HDL
CHO
GIU were measured.Results:The body weight were lower significantly for middle dose group(P<0.05) and high dose group(P<0.01)
testis fat weight and index of testis fat weigh/body weight were lower significantly for three dose groups(P<0.01)
food intake consumption had no obvious change compared with the model control.Conclusions:CMS is effective in lowering body weight and body fat in mice fed by high-fat diet.
