Objective:To investigate the changes of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid（BALF） and peroxidation-induced injury in the long-term smoking model mice

and the effect of Yanqing Tablet on them.Method:The model of long-term smoking of mice was set up.BALF protein concentrations were measured and total leukocytes were counted.Cytospin slides were made and stained to determine the BALF cell differential.The activities of superoxidized dismutase（SOS）

concentrations of malondialdehyde（MDA） and total antioxidative capacity（T-ADC） both in plasma and lung homogenate were detected.Result:Compared with normal control group

in smoking model group

BALF protein concentrations and total leukocytes increased（P<0.05）

the activities of SOD and T-ADC decreased（P<0.05）

concentrations of MDA increased（P<0.05）.While compared with smoking model group

in those groups treated with Yanqing Tablet

BALF protein concentrations dereased（P<0.05）

total leukocytes decreased（P<0.05）

the activities of SOD and T-ADC increased（P<0.01）

concentrations of MDA increased（P<0.05）.Conclusions:There are therapeutic effects of Yanqing tablet on inflammation of air duct and peroxidation-induced injury in the model of long-term smoking of mice.
