Anti-tumor Activity of the Semi-synthesis Derivative of Triptolide on Mice with Transplanted Human Colonic Tumor Cells
Objective:To observe and evaluate the anti-tumor effect of MC002
the semi synthesis derivative of triptolide
on human colonic tumor in HCT-8 mice.Methods: BALB/c nude mice of human colonic tumor model was made through HCT-8 cells inoculation.Anti-tumor activity of MC002 was evaluated in terms of relative tumor growth rate
tumor weight and tumor inhibitory ratio in mice transplanted.Results: Tumor volume and weight in every MC002 dosage group were obviously smaller than that in the control group.after ten times of administration
the values of T/C% in the groups of 1.5 mg·kg
-1
and 1.0 mg·kg
-1
were less than 40% with dose-effect relation ship.Conclusion:MC002 has significant restraining effect on the growth of HCT-8 tumor in mice.It may be developed into a new promising anticancer drug through further studies.
