Effect of Different Therapeutics on Damage of Pulmonary Fibrosis Induced by Oxygen Free Radicals in Rats
Objective:To observe effect of different therapeutics on damage of pulmonary fibrosis(PF) induced by oxygen free radicals in rats.Method:The rats were randomly divided into the groups(normal control group
model group
Xuefu Zhuyu group
Shashen Maidong group
Sanzi Yangqin and Erchen group and Prednisolone group). The rats were injected with bleomycin A5 hydrocloride solution into the lung through trachea for duplicating the PF model except for the normal control group. The rats were continuously given the different drugs by gavage for 28 days. The dynamic changes of body weight
pulmonary index
the activity of SOD and the contents of MDA in serum were measured.Result:The pulmonary index in the model group was increased and the body weight significantly decreased
and SOD activity was lowed and MDA was elevated than those of the normal control group at the same period(P < 0.05).Compared with the model group
the weight loss
pulmonary index and MDA in serum in the treatment groups were lessened while the SOD activity increased at different levels. Conclusion:The different therapeutics of Traditional Chinese Medicine has intervention effect to different degrees on the damage induced by oxygen free radicals for PF model rats.
