Optimizing Extracting Process for Astragalus Polysaccharides with Taguchi Design
Objective: To explore the optimum extracting technique of astragalus polysaccharides with Taguchi design.Method: The extraction process was investigated by L9(33) orthogonal design with the S /N of the content of astragalus polysaccharides as criteria
and three factors were chosen
including water addition
extraction time and extraction times.Result: The exacting process was optimized as follows: the drug was extracted 3 times for 1.5 hours with 6 times of water.Conclusion: This process is reliable and suitable for industrialized production.
