Objective: To study the pharmacological effects of Qianlieshu Capsule for treating prostatitis in animal models.Method: By using nonbacteral prostatitis(NBP) anti-inflammatory
analagesia
and diuresis experiments
the pharmacological effects of Qianlieshu Capsule were investigated.Result: Qianlieshu Capsule significantly inhibited pathophysiologic change of NBP in rats
alleviating effect on mice’s auricle swelling induced by xyleve and restraining effect on mice’s capillary vessel permeability
inhibited granulomatous hyperplasia in rats
significantly reduced the acetic acid-induced writhing and extended the latend period of licking hind foot in the hotplate test in mice
and increased urine volume in rats.Conclusion: Qianlieshu Capsule demonstrates the effects of anti-NBP
