Effects of Jiawei Zhenwu Tang on Expression of TGF-β and FN in Rats with Renal Fibrosis
Objective: To investigate the mechanism of Jiawei Zhenwu Tang on renal interstitial fibrosis in model of SD rats.Method: Rat renal interstitial fibrosis model was produced by unilateral ureteral obstruction(UUO)
60 rats were randomly divided into three groups: sham group
UUO group
treaement group.Some rats of each group were killed respectively at 7

21 days after operation.Renal index
Cr and BUN were measured.The level of renal damage by HE and Masson staining was carried out.The expression of TGF-β and FN was analyzed by immunohistochemical method.Result: The level of renal index

BUN and renal damage in UUO group were highter than those in treament group.The expression of TGF-β was significantly higter than treatment group
and FN increased also.Conclusion: Jiawei Zhenwu Tang can downregulate the level of renal index
Cr
BUN in UUO group
inhibit the expression of TGF-β and accumulation of FN.Jiawei Zhenwu Tang has active effects in anti-fibrosis.
