Removal of Plumbum Ion from Extract of Qingcha Compound by γ-mercaptopropyl Modified Silica Gel
Objective:To explore the possibility of removing plumbum ion from extract of Qingcha compound using γ-mercaptopropyl-modified silica gel(MPS).Method:MPS was synthesized by heterogenous route and characterized by DR-IR.Plumbum-polluted medicinal materials were extracted with water and the extract was passed through MPS column at a rate of 9 BV.h-1.The content of plumbum was measured by AAS.The solid content and HPLC profiles of the extract were determined to evaluate the process changes.Result:Compared with unmodified silica gel(SG)
MPS could effectively reduce the content of plumbum in the extract
with 74.6% of removal efficiency.During the removal process
there were no obvious changes of solid content(only 2.6% loss) and comparability of HPLC(similarity was 0.976).Conclusion:MPS can be used for the removal of plumbum ion from the extract of Qingcha compound.
