Optimization of Tetrahydroxystilbene Glucoside Separation from Radix Poligoni Multiflori by Macro-reticular Resin ZTC-1
Objective:To evaluate the performance of macro-reticular resin ZTC-1 for the separation and purification of tetrahydroxystilbene glucoside from Radix Poligoni Multiflori.Method:The concentration of tetra-hydroxystilbene glucoside was determined by HPLC.The optimum process conditions were obtained through the study of the dynamic adsorption and desorption characteristics of macroporous adsorption resins by small scale and pilot scale tests.Result:The adsorption and elution characteristics of macro-reticular resin ZTC-1 used to separate and purify tetrahydroxystilbene glucoside were very good.In the course of adsorption
the amount of used adsorption was 1 g dried mL-1 resin and the volumetric rate was 2.5 BV.h-1;in the course of elution
the resin column chromatogra-phy was eluted gradient with 10 BV 30% and 10 BV 70% EtOH after removing impurities with 5 BV water
and the 30% ethanol fractions were required to be purified again according to the above process after recovering the solvent.Conclusion:Macro-reticular resin ZTC-1 can be used to refine the tetrahydroxystilbene glucoside from the extraction of Radix Poligoni Multiflori.
