Study of Effects of Combination of Herba Epimedii,Fructus Ligustrilucidi and Dexamethasone on HPA axis and Bone Metabolism of Asthmatic Model in Rats
Objective:To observe the effects of the combination of Herba Epimedii
Fructus Ligustrilucidi and dexamethasone on hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenocortical(HPA) axis and bone metabolism of asthmatic model in rats during withdrawal stage.Method:The following indexes
including the content of serum COR
plasma ACTH
hypo-thalamic CRH and plasma BGP
were observed.Result:ACTH content of group Ⅰand Ⅱ of the combination of Her-ba Epimedii
Fructus Ligustrilucidi and GC(YN and GC groupⅠ
Ⅱ) were significantly lower(P < 0.05 and 0.01
respectively)
YN and GC group Ⅱ had a significant difference for the level of COR and BGP(all P < 0.05)
com-pared with the GC group.Conclusion:The combination of Herba Epimedii
Fructus Ligustrilucidi has the adjustment effects of the inhibition of dexamethasone to the HPA axis and bone metabolism in asthma treatment.
