Investigation of Mechanism of Toxicity Reduction in Compatibility of Crotonis Fructus with Different Dosage Platycodon Grandiflorum
Objective:To explore whether there is the effect of Platycodon grandiflorum on the reduction of the acute toxicity of Crotonis Fructus
and the mechanism of this effect.Method: The death condition and LD50 were used to be the index to evaluate the toxic conditions in the compatibility Crotonis Fructus with different dosage of P.grandiflorum.Furthermore
we revealed the mechanism of toxicity reduction via determining the content of crotonoside in the compatibility Crotonis Fructus with different dosage of P.grandiflorum.Result: The toxicity of Crotonis Fructus was reduced after the compatibility of P.grandiflorum
especially when dosage ratio between Crotonis Fructus and P.grandiflorum is 1∶3
the degree of LD50 and the 95% confidence level elevation was biggest.Besides
after the compatibility of P.grandiflorum
the content of crotonoside was changed as parabola
which elevated firstly and reduced then.The result showed the content of crotonoside reduced 32.57%
with masimum degree
when the dosage ratio is 1∶3.Conclusion: 1∶3 of the dosage ratio is the best ratio for reducing the toxicity of Crotonis Fructus in the compatibility of P.grandiflorum.And the effect may relate to the reduction of free-state crotonoside.
