Synthesis and Characterization of Complexes of Pr3+ with Low-molecular Weight Chitosan and Its Antibacterial Activity
Objective:To study Synthesis and antimicrobial properties of complexes of Pr3+ with Low molecular weight chitosan.Method: Chitosan was degraded by H2O2.The complexes was synthesized from the low-molecular weight chitasan(L-CTS) and Pr3+
and it was characterized by IR
UV-VIS
TG-DTA and GPC
respectively.Result: Pr3+ formed the steady complexes with low-molecular weight chitasan.The antibacterial activity test showed that it exhibited high antibacterial ability against Escherichia coli.and Staphylococcus aureus.Conclusion: The complexes is expected to be applied in the field of fruit and vegetable preservation and environmental purification.
