Objective:To optimize microporosity osmotic pump tablet formulation of total alkaloids from Corydalis decumbens by central composite design-response surface methodology.Method: With dosage of NaCl

coating weight gain as independent variables
the linear correlation coefficient(r) of cumulative release curve and drug cumulative release amount as dependent variables
prescription was optimized by Design Expert
and verified this optimized formulations.Result: Optimum formulation was as follows:the dosage of NaCl 34 mg
the mass fraction 99%
coating weight gain 4%;This optimized formulation showed zero-order release property.Conclusion: A formulation optimization model was successfully established by central composite design-response surface methodology
thereby prescription screening of microporosity osmotic pump tablet formulation of total alkaloids from C.decumbens was achieved.
