Optimization of Preparation Technology and Investigation of in vitro Release of Arbutin Sustained-release Creams
Objective:To optimize preparation technology of arbutin sustained-release creams and investigate its in vitro release.Method:With average number of milk drops and creams uniformity as comprehensive evaluation index
orthogonal test was used to optimize preparation technology of arbutin sustained-release creams with emulsification temperature
emulsification time and stirring speed as factors; The content of arbutin was determined by HPLC
in vitro release and stability of arbutin sustained-release creams were investigated.Result:Optimum preparation technology was as following:emulsifying temperature 80 ℃
emulsifying time 20 min and stirring with 1 200 r·min-1 for 20 min
then stopped heating
and stirred with 500 r·min-1 until cooled.Prepared arbutin sustained-release creams showed obvious sustained-release effect and good stability. Conclusion:Optimized preparation technology was stable and feasible
prepared samples had good sustained-release effect
it was suitale for industrial production of arbutin sustained-release creams.
