Determination of Trace Chromium in Gelatin Vacant Capsules by Microwave Digestion-AAS Method
Objective:To improve the method for determining the content of trace chromium in gelatin vacant capsules.Method:Microwave digestion-atomic absorption spectrophometry was adopted
samples were digested by microwave digestion instrument
the content of trace chromium in gelatin vacant capsules was determined by graphite furnace program heating method of atomic absorption spectrophotometry.Result:The regression equation was Y=4.767×10-4X(r=0.999 8) with the linear range of 0-50 μg·L-1.The average recovery of the low
medium and high mass concentration samples were 92.2%(RSD 1.8%)
96.8%(RSD 1.6%)
100.7%(RSD 1.3%)
RSD of the precision was 1.1%
RSD of the repeatability was 1.2%
which were in full compliance with the requirements.Conclusion:This method was simple
accurate
reliable and rapid with digesting completely
which was suitable for determining the content of trace chromium in gelatin vacant capsules.
