Rapid Determination of Moisture in Aucklandiae Radix by Near-infrared Spectroscopy with PLS
Objective: This paper mainly studied the application of near infrared spectroscopy with PLS for rapid determination of moisture in Aucklandiae Radix. Method: Through collecting near-infrared spectraby of Aucklandiae Radix by Near-infrared diffuse reflectance spectroscopy technique
with toluene method measurements as a reference value
the quantitative model of moisture was established by partial least squares (PLS)
and it was verified by the unknown samples. Result: The correlation coefficients(R2)
the root-mean-square error of calibration (RMSEC) and the root-mean-square error of cross-validation (RMSEP) of the quantitative calibration model of moisture were 0.982 9
0.178 and 0.196
respectively; test value of NIR prediction values and the reference values of the validation set was -0.615 (bilateral P>0.05)
implying the difference was not significant. Conclusion: The method is simple
quick
and accurate
and it can be applied to the rapid determination of moisture in Aucklandiae Radix.
