Meta-analysis on Treatment of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer by Shenqi Fuzheng Injection in Combination with Radiotherapy
Objective: To study the efficacy and safety of Shenqi Fuzheng injection(SQFZI) combined with radiotherapy in treating non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Method: Systematic literature searches were performed in PubMed
CBM
CNKI
VIP and WanFang Data from database inception to May 2014.Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) of SQFZI combined with radiotherapy (versus radiotherapy alone) in any language were included. No language limitation was applied. Two reviewers separately assessed the quality of each included study and extracted the data. Meta-analysis was carried out according to the method provided by the Cochrane Collaboration with RevMan5.2 software. Result: A total of 7 RCTs were included. The Meta-analysis showed that the combination of SQFZI and radiotherapy couldimprove the curative effect [OR=2.74

improve the quality of life [OR=4.85

improve the quality of life
improve clinical symptom and reduce the adverse effect of radiotherapy. These findings require further confirmation with rigorously controlled trials.
