Quality Standard for Boiled Powder of Maxing Erchen Tang
Objective: To establish the quality standard for boiled powder of Maxing Erchen Tang. Method: The qualitative identifications of honey-fried Ephedrae Herba
Armeniacae Semen Amarum
Belamcandae Rhizoma and Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium were carried out by TLC
and the contents of belamcandin and hesperidin were determined by HPLC. Result: The results of TLC showed that the relevant spots were clear without interference in the blank reference. The liner ranges of belamcandin and hesperidin were 12.0-120.0 mg·L-1 (r=0.999 8) and 6.6-66.0 mg·L-1 (r=0.999 9)
respectively. The average recovery of belamcandin was 100.00% with RSD of 1.9%. The average recovery of hesperidin was 98.16% with RSD of 1.8%. Conclusion: The established qualitative and quantitative methods are simple and accurate
reliable and reproducible
and can be effectively used for the quality control of boiled powder of Maxing Erchen Tang.
