Quantitative Analysis of 9 Kinds of Heavy Metal Elements in Commercially Available Tanshinone Ⅱ Extract
Objective: To establish a method to determine the contents of heavy metal elements in Tanshinone ⅡA. Method: ICP-MS
AAS and AFS were used to determine the contents of metal elements with Sc
Y
In and Tb as the internal labels after microwave digestion of samples. Result: Each metal elements had a good linear relationship (correlation coefficient >0.999 7)
detection limit within 0.03 μg·kg-1 to 2.16 μg·kg-1and the average recovery value ranged from 95% to 113%. Conclusion: The method was simple in operation
and excellent in precision
accuracy
stability
and repeatability
which can be recommended to determine the content of metal elements in Tanshinone ⅡA. It also can provide reference for accurate determination and quality control of metal elements in other traditional Chinese medicine extracts.
