Objective: To observe the antitumor effects of Xihuang dropping pills in S180 tumor-bearing mice and their influence on angiogenesis markers (CD34) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression in sarcoma tissues of tumor-bearing mice. There was significant difference in proteins expression between Xihuang dropping pills middle dose group and Xihuang pills group. Conclusion: Xihuang dropping pills have the anti-tumor effect in S180 tumor-bearing mice
and the mechanism may be associated with down-regulating expression of CD34 and VEGF protein in tumor tissues.
