Objective: To study the chemical constituents from Aconitum tanguticum. Method: The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by using a combination of modern chromatographic techniques
and their structures were determined through spectral analysis(1D
2D-NMR and MS) and literature comparison. Result: Seventeen compounds were isolated and identified as isolumichrome(1)

and N-methyltyramine(17). Conclusion: Compounds 1-4
6-8 and 12-17 were isolated from A. tanguticum for the first time.
