Medication Rules of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescriptions for Embryonic Diapause
Objective: Toexplore the medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescriptions for embryonic diapause
in order to provide reference for the clinical treatment of blighted ovum. Method: Based on Chinese Medical Classics(edition V)
literatures of TCM prescriptions for treating embryonic diapause were collected. Totally 52 prescriptions recorded in the TCM Inheritance Platform System were about medication rules. Result: With a high repetition rate
Bazhentang showed the highest repetition rate.Totally 84 TCMs were involved
including 29 TCM herbswith the usage frequency ≥ 3.Furthermore
the 24 groups of commonly used drug combinations involved 8 TCM herbs and 27 groups of association rules. Finally
6 core combinations and 3 new prescriptions are evolved from the database. Conclusion: In the ancient literatures
tonic medicines are the major medicine for embryonic diapause
and thehealthy movement of the spleen and stomach functiona on the normal development of the embryo was emphasized
particularly the medicines nourishing Qi to invigorate spleen
nourishing blood and Qi circulation and activating blood circulation. The new prescriptions strengthening spleen
supplementing Qi
regulating blood and resolving phlegm were developed as the main principles
which provide ideas and reference for clinical treatment.
