    • “A study conducted by the Respiratory Department Outpatient Department of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine found that patients with cough variant asthma mainly have cough as the main syndrome, accompanied by symptoms such as pharyngeal itching and foreign body sensation in the throat. The disease site involves the four organs of the lungs, liver, spleen, and kidneys, and wind and yin injury, dampness and evil accumulation are common syndrome types. There is a correlation between traditional Chinese medicine syndrome types and laboratory indicators.”
