HPLC Specific Chromatograms of Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Nodus and Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Nodus Charcoal
Objective: To set up the HPLC specific chromatograms of Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Nodus and Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Nodus charcoal. Method: The analysis was performed on Lichrospher C18 column (4.6 mm×150 mm
5 μm) with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile-0.2% phosphoric acid by gradient elution at a column temperature of 30 ℃; the flow rate was 1.0 mL ·min-1
the detection wavelength was at 203 nm and the analytic time was 70 min. Result: Five specific peaks were identified in chromatograms of Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Nodus and four specific peaks were identified in chromatograms of Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Nodus charcoal by 3-epibetulinic acid as reference substance. Conclusion: The method is simple and reliable with a good reproducibility and can be used for the quality control of Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Nodus and Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Nodus Charcoal.
