Effect of Shenqi Jiuyuan Decoction on Blood Glucose and Blood Lipids in Rats with Type 2 Diabetes
参芪救元汤可降低2型糖尿病大鼠的胆固醇(TC)及甘油三酯(TG)并升高高密度脂蛋白(HDL-C)及Ins含量( P <0.05)。 结论: 参芪救元汤可降低2型糖尿病大鼠的血糖、血脂
其作用机制可能与促进分泌Ins、改善脂质代谢有关。
Abstract
Objective: To observe the effect of Shenqi Jiuyuan Decoction on blood glucose and blood lipids in rats with type 2 diabetes. Method: With feeding high fat diet for a certain duration
the diabetic rat model was established through intraperitoneal injection of STZ of 25 mg ·kg-1 . And then the diabetic rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: model control group
merformin hydrochloride group (0.25 g ·kg-1)
high dosage of Shenqi Jiuyuan Decoction (10 g ·kg-1)
and low dosage of Shenqi Jiuyuan Decoction (5 g ·kg-1 ). After 2 weeks’ medical ig administration
the influence of Shenqi Jiuyuan Decoction on type 2 diabetic rats regarding fast blood glucose
blood lipids
and insulin content was evaluated. Result: Compared with the model control group
Shenqi Jiuyuan Decoction could significantly reduce blood glucose in type 2 diabetic rats
with significant hypoglycemic effect after administration for 7 days and 14 days (P<0.05). Compared with the model control group
Shenqi Jiuyuan Decoction could decrease the serum total cholesterol and triglyceride concentration
as well as increase the serum high density lipoprotein cholesterol and the insulin content (P<0.05). Conclusion: Shenqi Jiuyuan Decoction has hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects
which may be related to promotion of insulin secretion and regulation of lipids metabolism.
