Effects of Guizhi Fuling Capsule on Quantity of CD4 T Lymphocytes and Cytotoxic Activity of NK Cells in Spleen of Rats with Endometriotics
Objective: To observe the effects of Guizhi Fuling Capsule on the quantity of CD4+ T lymphocytes and the cytotoxic activity of NK cells in spleen of with rats endometriosis. Method: Rat model of endometriosis was created by self-transplant
and then administrated with 0.256 or 1.024 g ·kg-1 Guizhi Fuling Capsule orally for 28 days. Lymphocytes and NK cells were separated from the spleen. The quantity of CD4+ T lymphocytes was measured by flow cytometry. The cytotoxic activity of NK cells were tested by MTT assay while incubated with K562 cells. Result: CD4+ T lymphocytes were 19.0% higher in low-dose group than model group. Compared with model group
the cytotoxic activity of NK cells in low-dose group increased about 0.5 fold. Conclution: The quantity of CD4+ T lymphocytes and the cytotoxic activity of NK cells in EMs can be significantly increased by Guizhi Fuling Capsule.
