Influence of Yiqi Huoxue Jiangzhuo Decoction on TGF--smad-ILK Signal Transduction Pathway in Rats with Unilateral Ureteral Obstruction
Objective: To study Yiqi Huoxue Jiangzhuo decoction (YHJD) on transforming growth factor-beta 1(TGF-β1)

and investigate the effect of YHJD on TGF-β1-smad-ILK signal transduction pathway. Method: Unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) method was adopted to establish rat model of renal interstitial fibrosis

medium and low-dose group. Coomassie brilliant blue method was used to measure 24 h urinary protein. The protein expression of TGF-β1

ILK in kidney tissue were detected respectively by immunohistochemistry. Result: Compared with the normal group and sham operation group

fosinopril sodium group was also significantly reduced than in model group (P<0.01). Conclusion: YHJD could block TGF-β1-smad-ILK signal transduction by reducing TGF-β1
p-smad2/3
ILK protein expressions and increasing smad7 proteins expression in kidney tissue. It might be the mechanisms of YHJD relieving renal interstitial fibroblast.
