Evaluation of Uncertainty in Detection of Sulfur Dioxide in Rhei Radix Et Rhizoma by Ion Chromatography
Objective: To establish an ion chromatography method for uncertainty analysis of sulfur dioxide in Rhei Radix Et Rhizoma. Method: Through establishing IEC standard curve method determination mathematical mode
the factors affecting the uncertainty were deduced. Each component of uncertainty was evaluated and calculated
from which the combined uncertainty and finally the extended uncertainty were obtained in 95% confidence intervals. Result: The determined content of sulfur dioxide in Rhei Radix Et Rhizoma of this test is (189.92±7.14) μg·g-1. Conclusion: The established mathematic model is applicable to the uncertainty analysis of sulfur dioxide in Chinese herbal medicine by ion chromatography standard curve method.
