Mechanism of Wendan Tang Against Atherosclerosis by Regulating Ferroptosis Based on JAK2/STAT3 Signaling Pathway
- “Wendan Decoction improved aortic lesion, lipid disorder and oxidative stress status in atherosclerotic mice, accompanied by a decrease in JAK2/STAT3 phosphorylation level and an increase in the expression of SLC7A11 and GPX4, suggesting that its anti AS effect may be related to regulating JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway and inhibiting iron death. This research provides a new mechanism for Chinese medicine to prevent and treat atherosclerosis.”
