    • “Neurodegenerative diseases are caused by neuronal degeneration and brain tissue loss. As high-energy consuming cells, the survival and function of neurons are highly dependent on the energy supply and homeostasis maintenance of mitochondria. For the first time, researchers have systematically sorted out the neuroprotective mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine monomers and formulas regulating mitochondrial autophagy through the PINK1/Parkin pathway, opening up new directions for modern research on traditional Chinese medicine prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.”
