Effect of Mitophagy-mediated Ferroptosis on Ulcerative Colitis and Intervention Strategies of Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on "Deficient-Qi Induced Stagnation" Theory
- “The pathogenesis of ulcerative colitis is closely related to mitochondrial autophagy mediated ferroptosis. "The energy depletion caused by insufficient mitochondrial autophagy, the inflammatory response driven by ferroptosis, and the accumulation of pathological products are inherently consistent with the theory of deficiency and retention of qi in traditional Chinese medicine." Experts use this theory as an entry point to explore its TCM pathogenesis regulation mechanism, opening up new directions for the modern biological mechanism research of TCM intervention in ulcerative colitis.”
