Abstract
Objective:To screen traditional Chinese medicine with anti-angiogenesis effect. Method: Hatching eggs were randomly divided into 21 groups
after incubating for 7 days
nineteen kinds of decocted medicinal herbs and 0.9% sodium chloride solution were added to the carrier which was on the surface of chick chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) respectively. Four days later
the states of angiogenesis on the CAM were observed. Result: Among the selected 19 traditional Chinese medicines
gambogic acid
ginsenoside
arteannuinumsuccinat
matrine and norcantharidin showed apparent inhibitive effects on angiogenesis. There was a significant difference compared with the group which was added sodium chloride solution (P<0.05). Conclusion: Gambogic acid
ginsenoside
arteannuinumsuccinat
matrine and norcantharidin have inhibitive effects on angiogenesis.
