Objective: To develop an HPLC method for the determination of notoginsenoside R1 and ginsenoside Rg1
Re and Rb1 in Compound Salvia miltiorrhiza Capsule. Method: The column was Thermo ODS-HYPERSIL (4.6 mm×200 mm
5 μm).The gradient elution mixture mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile and water.The determination wavelength was set at 203 nm. Result: Linear ranges were 0.053 45-5.345 μg for notoginsenoside R1
0.224 25-7.475 μg for ginsenoside Rg1
0.044 05-4.405 μg for ginsenoside Re
0.225 15-7.505 μg for ginsenoside Rb1.The average recovery was 96.2%(n=9) for notoginsenoside R1
95.6%(n=9) for ginsenoside Rg1
105.6%(n=9) for ginsenoside Re
100.4%(n=9) for ginsenoside Rb1. Conclusion: The method is simple
sensitive
accurate
specific and reproducible in the quality control of Compound Salvia miltiorrhiza Capsule.
