Objective:To establish an HPLC method for determination of salvianolic acid B in Danxi Granula. Method: The Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 (4.6 mm×150 mm
5 μm) was used; the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1; the mobile phase consisted of methanol-1% formic acid (40∶60) with the detection wavelength at 286 nm; the column temperature was at 30 ℃. Result: A good linear correlation of salvianolic acid B was observed within the range of (0.207-8.264) g (r=0.999 9)
with the average recovery was 100.20% (RSD 1.14%). Conclusion: The method is simple and accurate with good specificity and reproducibility
and it can be used for the quality control and evaluation of Danxi Granula.
