WEN Ming-ling, HAN Yan. Safe Application of Danshen Injection[J]. Chinese journal of experimental traditional medical formulae, 2012, 18(22): 322-324.DOI:
Objective:To comprehensively evaluate the safety and clinical efficacy of Danshen injection in common diseases with the nature of blood stasis. Method: The indication (blood stasis) of the injection was strictly pointed by the researchers. The conduct of the study was regulated for monitoring of medication from beginning to the end during seven days
including adverse reactions
dosage
administration time
solvent
blood stasis score. Result: A total of 546 patients were studied. Six cases showed adverse reactions (incidence 1.09%)
and the degree was mild to moderate with allergic reactions as the common case. All patients with adverse reactions were treated by combination therapy. Blood stasis syndrome scores was significantly reduced when compared with that before the treatment. Conclusion: When indication is specified to blood stasis syndrome and the use of the injection is rationalized
the clinical application of Danshen injection is safe and effective.
