S)-goitrin were determined by gravimetric method and HPLC. Result: Thickness of pieces was major factor for infiltration and cutting technology of pieces of I. indigotica
followed by infiltration time and water consumption.Optimum infiltration and cutting technology was:infiltrated 20 h with 0.6 times the amount of pieces of I. indigotica
thickness of pieces 3 mm and drying at 60℃. Conclusion: Optimized infiltration and cutting technology was stable and feasible
it could provide experimental basis for processing technology standardization and quality standard of pieces of I. indigotica.
