Objective: To analyze the contents of chlorogenic acid and 3
5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid in the different parts of Chrysanthemum indicum
which sources from hengyang
Hunan province. Method: Chlorogenic acid and 3
5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid in the different parts of C. indicum were extracted by the method of ultrasonic method with 80% ethanol and analyzed by RP-HPLC at the wavelength of 327 nm with the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1. Meanwhile
0.05% H3PO4 aqueous solution and acetonitrile were used as the mobile phase with gradient elution. Result: The linear range (n=5) of chlorogenic acid (r=0.996)and 3
5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid(r=0.992) was 10-100 mg·L-1. The average recoveries (n=6) of chlorogenic acid and 3
5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid were 98.5% and 99.7%
respectively. The contents of chlorogenic acid in the different parts of C. indicum including leaves
flowers
buds
tender stems and old stems was 1.08%
