The open field test
lactic acid
urea nitrogen and weight-loaded swimming test with computer-aided automatic control system were used to observe actions of L. barbarum. Result: L. barbarum could increase spontaneous motor activity and descended the level of blood lactic acid and blood urea nitrogen in Yin deficiency model mice(P<0.05). The sink time and the death time in 10
20 g·kg-1groups were significantly prolonged as compared with model group(P<0.05). Conclusion: L. barbarum has anti-fatigue effect in Yin-deficiency model mice. It can increase endurance of mice in later period of swimming.
