the average recovery was 95.7%-104.0%. The average content of p-hydroxycinnamic in 5 batch slices of R. giganteum determined was 0.111 5 mg·g-1. Conclusion: The method was simple

good reproducibility and could be used for the quality control of R. giganteum.
