Objective: To study the effect of Heat-cleaning and Pain-relieving liniment on actue gouty arthritis rats induced by sodium urate. Method: Forty-five SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups: model group rats were smeared equal volume of excipient after modeling by time. Indomethacin group(0.004 5 g·kg-1) rats were administrated drugs one hour before modeling (10 mL·kg-1). Heat-cleaning and Pain-relieving liniment high dose(0.91 g·kg-1)group
medium dose(0.46 g·kg-1)group and low dose(0.23 g·kg-1) group rats were smeared after modeling at once
and the volume of rats ankle were detected at 6
12
24
48 h after modeling. Result: Different doses of Heat-cleaning and Pain-relieving liniment all could obviously inhibit the pain of ankle
reduce the degree of swelling
and decrease the score of gait. There was a significant difference compared with the model group (P <0.05). Conclusion: There was a better therapeutic effect of Heat-cleaning and Pain-relieving liniment on gouty arthritis rats by sodium urate.
