Objective: To enrich the study of chemical composition and provide a theoretical basis for quality control
GC-MS was used to analyze the volatile oil components in Ganteling capsule. Method: The volatile oil components were extracted and isolated with steam distillation method according to ChP (2010). The chemical compositions were separated by GC capillary column chromatography
and the relative contents of constituents were determined by area normalization method. Result: Twenty seven compounds were detected and 24 compounds of them were identified by contrast with the mass standard map. And the compounds that the relative contents were more than 5% were palmitic acid(31.82%)
