the pharmacokinetic of piperine was summarized

including biological specimen pretreatment

sample identification and absorption

distribution

metabolism

excretion of piperine in vivo

and its enhancing the bioavailability of drugs. More studies on the pharmacokinetic and mechanism of how piperine enhance the bioavailability of drugs have been reported. The research of metabolic process and metabolin of piperine should be developed.
